==Game summary==
The North rushing attack, led by Decatur’s Frank “Moose” Miller, proved too much as the Yanks scored once in each quarter to win 24-6. The North had 289 yards rushing to the South’s 123. Henry Watts scored in the first from five yards around left end. Bobby Aaron put the Yanks up 12-0 at the half on a 3-yard run. The Moose got loose in the third for a 61-yard gallop on the first play of the second half, and Danny Moore added the final score. Lamon Moates of Lanier got the South’s touchdown in the third. A rumor circulated during the week that Miller had changed his mind about going to Cornell and would play for Georgia
Tech. Miller went on to become a star at Cornell. This game marked the first time that high school coaches handled the teams.
