==Game summary==&lt;br /&gt;
The North was favored by two touchdowns. The game was scoreless going into the fourth. Jonesboro’s Bill Dunford broke loose on a 45-yard scoring run on the second play of the fourth quarter. Pepper Rodgers split the uprights for the extra point. The South followed with a short drive climaxed by Sonny George’s short run. George’s placement kick to tie was very close. The referees huddled for a few moments before declaring the kick good. Total offense for the game was almost even with the South gaining 186 to the North’s 184 yards.&lt;br /&gt;
