==Game summary==<br />
John Jordan of Americus was selected the Offensive MVP after hitting 7/10 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Eddie Lee Ivery added 110 yards rushing and scored on a 47-yard run. The South scored first on a 24-yard pass from Jordan to Randy Allen. The North answered with a 3-yard run by Gainesville’s Ricky Gittens. Jordan threw to Don Bessilieu to put the South up 14-7 at the half. Ivery’s run made it 21-7 in the third. John O’Neal ran from 1 in the fourth to make it 21-14. North QB Skip Ramsey hit Carver’s Mike Wilcox from 16 with 2:32 remaining. Henderson’s Jeff Gray missed the PAT that would have tied the game. He also missed a field goal attempt in the last few seconds. Frank Ellis of Swainsboro was the Defensive MVP.<br />
