==Game summary==
Cartersville quarterback Lyle Allen was 9-of-18 for 132 yards with a touchdown pass and a 10-yard scoring run to lead the North to a 17-7 win at Columbus Memorial Stadium.

Allen's crafty 10-yard run down the left sideline ended the game's scoring. It was made possible when Buford linebacker Trey Hunsucker pounced on a muffed South punt return at South's 10-yard line.

Hunsucker also pressured South quarterback Emmanuel Taylor of Early County into an interception at the North's goal line. Carrollton cornerback Jerrard Tarrant, a Georgia Tech commitment, picked it off for the North.

Chamblee running back Roddy Jones earned MVP for the North. The Georgia Tech commitment had 88 yards on 14 carries while Chamblee teammate Nicolai Schwarzkopf provided the game's first score by catching Allen's 9-yard pass in the first quarter. East Paulding kicker Chas Henry extended the lead to 10-0 with a 41-yard field goal in the second quarter.

Bryan Ellis, who took Peach County to the Class AAA championship, was named the South's MVP by connecting on 12 of 21 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown in the third quarter. Northside-Warner Robins wide receiver Jacobi Rodriguez provided the South's lone touchdown on an 11-yard strike from Ellis. Charlie Edwards of Tift County added the extra point. Rodriguez ended up with a game-high six receptions for 84 yards.
