The move from the GHSFHA to the High School Football Historians Association (HSFHA) is complete. All nine states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee — now live on the HSFHA site.

The records on this site are frozen as of May 2026 and will not receive corrections, additions, or updates. As new research comes in, they will fall further out of date. For anything you plan to cite, link to, or build on, please use hsfha.org instead — it is the authoritative source going forward.
The new site
The HSFHA site has been built from the ground up, incorporating many ideas developed over the nearly 25 years the GHSFHA has been in existence. The changes are too numerous to list here — the best way to see is to visit the site and explore it for yourself. It is still being actively developed, so you may encounter areas that are being refined. All of my attention going forward is on the new site.
What happens to this site
Editing has been disabled. Historical content will not be removed — this site stays online as a read-only archive for the time being so old links continue to resolve. It will eventually redirect to the new HSFHA website, so it is worth updating any bookmarks, citations, or links you maintain.

All editing now takes place on the HSFHA site. Any corrections you spot in the archive here should be submitted there.
