Dock Kemp was a formerly black school located in Wrightsville.

The Dock Kemp name was already in place for the school when a Rosenwald building was budgeted for the 1921-22 school year.[1] A new school opened January 3, 1955.[2] Its building, along with new schools for Wrightsville High and Scott Grammar, had been approved in 1953 by the State School Building Authority.[3]

Football

Dock Kemp is known to have played only three seasons in the Georgia Interscholastic Association: 1956, 1957 and 1958.
