Wilbur Lofton of Grady ran for 95 yards on 15 carries and scored both touchdowns on short runs. Murphy’s Mike Anderson and Roy Vickery destroyed the South’s rushing attack. Joe DeLany of North Fulton was the MVP. His 37-yard pass to R.K. Brown set up the game-clinching score in the fourth.
