Game summary

The Rebs drove the length of the field on their opening drive, scoring on a three-yard run by Valdosta’s Joe Wright. Soon after that, Valdosta quarterback Alton Hitson threw 37 yards to Spence Fischer on a flag pattern to make it 14-0. The North got on the board three minutes before halftime on a 2-yard run by Pepperell’s Frankie Fletcher. Two minutes later, Kanon Parkman added a field goal to make the halftime score 14-10. David Lowman of Warner Robins got the final touchdown on an 8-yard option pitch round right end. Hitson was chosen the Offensive MVP and Griffin’s Ben Talley got the Defensive MVP award.
