Game summary
Collins Hill quarterback Taylor Heinicke completed 22 of 26 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns Wednesday to lead the North to a 22-0 victory over the South in the annual Georgia high school all-state game in Columbus.
Heinicke, the Class AAAAA offensive player of the year this season, threw TD passes to South Gwinnett's Kent Rollins and North Gwinnett's C.J. Uzomah and to Carrollton running back Broderick Snoddy.
Heinicke passed for more than 4,000 yards this season in leading Collins Hill to the Class AAAAA semifinals. He recently committed to Old Dominion.
Kirtsay Solomon, an all-state defensive end from Baldwin, was the South's MVP. He had two sacks.
