Game summary

Charley Roberts wrote, “Poor Mr. Hargrove, about whose greatness there is little doubt, never had a chance to get started, so hard was he pressed and hounded by a big agile North line. The Fitzgerald Catapult managed only five yards on 14 totes.” The North’s Don Knighton (ex-Boys and Marist star) scored twice in the first half on runs of 1 and 8 yards. Future UGA great Jackie Roberts of Gainesville added a 67-yard scoring run in the fourth.
