Hudson was a former African-American school in Macon.

History

Hudson High and Industrial opened in 1922[1] as Macon's only black public high school, a status it would keep until Ballard became public. Hudson combined with Ballard to form Ballard-Hudson in 1949.[2] In its final year of operation, the Georgia Educational Directory noted an insufficient library and an excessive teacher load.[3]

Football

Hudson was competing in football soon after it was established.
